Following 2008’s Joemus album, this is the first advance glimpse of the Sunbutler project, a new collaboration between Momus and Joe Howe of Ben Butler & Mousepad. Joe is composing backing tracks all using five basic sounds on an FM synth. Momus then turns these backing tracks into songs, adding his own singing, sounds, arrangements and lyrics. Sunbutler might become a vinyl-only release, a full-length album, or a full-blown all-singing, all-dancing robot valet service.
